An incubator for mental health support: a workplace insulated around the emotional weight of the work carried out inside it.

Narrative
The office is designed to hold difficulty. Material, volumetric and ergonomic decisions work together to both settle and stimulate the people using the building — a call centre and counselling organisation where the day's work is other people's crises.
The plan moves from public to protected: reception, a breakaway staircase, private meeting rooms and a boardroom, then team spaces, the call centre, an eating area and a quiet room at the far end of the sequence.
Documented across plans, sections and details at 1:100 and 1:20.
Key decisions
- A breakaway staircase that doubles as informal retreat
- Curtained circular meeting rooms — privacy without heaviness
- A dedicated quiet room as decompression space for staff
- Colour and translucency separating the call centre from focused team areas
